as the pieces will contribute to the artistic value of the project/production, the borrower must ensure that the following conditions will be met:
working days within the eu, or fourteen (14) working days worldwide, after the completion of the
shoot/production. these timeframes reference to the item‘s arrival at the loan provider‘s address.
if this deadline isn‘t met, the loan giver may apply fees at their discretion outlined in section ‘e’.
2. shipment tracking – when returning items, the borrower is required to only use an insured and trackable
postal service (such as dhl express or equivalent) and must ensure to provide the loan giver with a valid
tracking number directly upon shipment.
3. tax documentation for returns outside eu – if returning items from outside the european union sufficient
tax documentation must be added to the parcel (e.g. a ‚pull letter‘ and ‚return proforma invoice‘). please
always feel free to ask the loan giver for assistance.
it‘s in both parties‘ interest to avoid items ending up at customs;
thus, ensuring proper documentation is crucial. insufficient documentation could result in items being held by
customs, potentially leading to additional tax expenses – costs for which the borrower is held responsible.
therefore the borrower hereby agrees to fully reimburse any such tax expenses arising from inadequate
documentation during the return process.
the loan giver will, in a timely manner, provide evidence of these expenses for reimbursement purposes. as an
aside, be aware that in situations of withheld items, julia bajanova may need to be physically present at
customs for the release of such items.
avoiding this situation is essential whenever possible.
4. costs and reimbursement – please be aware that the borrower is responsible for all shipping costs associated
with the rental, including cost for any return(s) of items.
it is recommended that the loan giver handles outbound shipments (based on his in-depth experience about the specific regional requirements and their corresponding best courier services). should the loan giver handle the outbound shipment please note, that
shipment can only be processed, if the borrower provides the loan giver with a prior reimbursement of
shipping-costs.

1. assessing items upon receipt – directly upon receival, the borrower shall inspect the items carefully and
report any damage or loss to the loan giver. if this is not processed upon arrival, it shall be determined that
all items have arrived in a flawless condition.
2. handling of items – due to their delicate nature, please ensure that items are treated gently and kept away
from sharp objects. please also watch out for make-up stains, severe surrounding conditions such as mud,
cigarette fumes, sticky liquids or similar.
3. cleaning – all items will be delivered in a dry-cleaned and ironed state. if the borrower intends to return
the items cleaned, they must never be machine washed and only get dry-cleaned through professional services.
